TURIN, Aug 28 (SW) – The absence of David Trezeguet from the Juventus
lineup to take on Napoli in the Coppa Italia has started rumours of a
supposed link up with Manchester United.
The French international is one of the few remaining stars in Turin
after a summer of high-profile exits from the Bianconeri, and reports
suggest he could be on his way to The Premiership for £17 million.
Trezeguet has been associated with various moves in Europe this summer,
but Juventus will be hoping to keep the player with only days to go
before the closure of the summer transfer window.
