GLASGOW, Aug 27 (SW) – According to Celtic manager Gordon Strachan, The
Real Madrid midfielder and Danish international, Thomas Gravesen, may
be on his way to Celtic.
He added that a transfer fee (£2 million) had been agreed with the Madrid giants of Spanish football.
He was talking after his side’s home 2 – 1 victory over Hibernian at
Parkhead. He went on to say that a lucrative package had been arranged.
As yet no word has been heard from Real to either confirm or deny the
agreement.
The player is currently out of favour at Real. In an effort to maintain
his fitness levels ahead of the European Championships qualifiers this
coming week, he has been training with his former club Vejle.
