MUNICH, Aug 22 (SW) – Owen Hargreaves’ attempts to leave Bayern Munich for Manchester United have angered team management.
The German giants have rejected a bid for the player and have confirmed
their intention to hold the 25-year-old, despite Hargreaves’ continual
admissions he wishes to move to Manchester.
Bayern’s fiery General Manager Uli Hoeness has spoken out on the matter, saying that the player must accept the club’s decision.
"I would advise him to keep his mouth shut now or else I will get
really angry and that won't be very good for him," said Hoeness.
"I simply can't understand why he keeps going on about it after the two talks we had.
"He will not be allowed to leave and he must learn to accept the decisions of his bosses. That is simply a question of respect."
