AUXERRE, Aug 15 (SW) – Auxerre defender Younes Kaboul has confirmed he has been the subject of interest from Inter Milan.
Whilst the clubs have not agreed on a fee for the former France
Under-19 captain, the player confirmed that a bid had been made for his
services.
"Auxerre have already rejected an offer from Inter, so I probably won't be changing team this summer," said the 20-year-old.
"I don't have any problem in staying here, but I think that my club
will stay in touch with Inter and I may have a chance of wearing the
Nerazzurri shirt in the future."
Even if the Nerazzurri can agree a fee with the Ligue 1 side for
Kaboul, the player is highly unlikely to arrive at the San Siro this
season and is much more likely to remain in familiar surroundings on
loan to continue his development.
